The Grand Rodez tourist office organizes visits including access to the roofs of the cathedral from where you can admire an extraordinary panoramic view!

Lovers of nature and beautiful stones will not be left out. Rodez and its surroundings offer magnificent discoveries. Among the marvels of the Rouergue... the Trou de Bozoul, a natural cove; the Lakes’ region; Salle La Source and its museum of old crafts 15km away... as well as no less than 10 villages classified among the most beautiful villages in France: Conques and its Romanesque abbey famous for its tympanum 25 km away, Belcastel dominated by its medieval castle, Brousse-le-Château and its fortress still watching over the Tarn valley today, Estaing on the way to Santiago de Compostela, La Couvertoirade, witness to the memory of the Templar and Hospitaller orders, Najac overlooking the Gorges de l'Aveyron, Peyre and its many troglodyte monuments, Sauveterre-de-Rouergue, a former royal bastide in the heart of Ségala between Rodez and Albi, Saint-Côme-d'Olt at the foot of the Aubrac with its church surmounted by an astonishing flamed bell tower and Saint-Eulalie-d'Olt with its facades of pebbles from the river.

The magnificent Lot valley is only 30 km away and the superb Aubrac plateaus with the Laguiole cutlery 50 km away as well as the city of insects Micropolis; the Gorges du Tarn; the Millau viaduct, Saint Afrique and its Roquefort cellars.
